Edith I. Oman, 79, of Memphis, NY passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023, with her loving daughter-in-law Kimberly by her side at The Grand @ Rome, NY. Born to Robert and Frances Jones on December 9,1943, she was predeceased by her parents, husband Harold, son Carl, brother Gerald and stepdaughter Katherine. Edith enjoyed spending time with family, reading, gardening and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, caretaker and companion Kimberly Oman of Memphis, NY, daughter Susan (Chuck) Mantella of Skaneateles, NY, two stepdaughters Christine and Cynthia, grandchildren Melanie (Paul Jesmer), Megan and Morgan Oman, all of Elbridge, NY, Nicole (Andy Chambers) Marlowe of Memphis, NY, Emma Youngman of Albuquerque, NM, and Nicole Mantella of FL, great-grandchildren Hudson and Emersyn Jesmer, Gavin and Madelyn Wright and Charlotte and Adam Chambers, sister Cindy Mills, brothers Robert and David Jones and many nieces and nephews.
At Edith's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to a charity of your choice in Edith's honor.
