Dorothy M. (Clements) Lee, 91, formally of 560 Peru Road, Jordan, passed away January 30, 2024 at the Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse.
Dorothy was born in Syracuse on April 9, 1932. Dorothy lived in Jordan for most of her life. She retired after working for 45 years at The Borden Company in Syracuse.
Dorothy loved making crafts, going to craft shows, camping, playing cards, and bowling. She was treasurer for several years with the Bowling Leagues at Rainbow Lanes in Weedsport. Dorothy was a volunteer for over 60 years at the Jordan Fall Festival and also as Treasurer of the Jordan Memorial Day Committee. She was a member of the Erie Canal Park on Beaver Street in Jordan. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jordan.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Edward, who passed away in 1995.
Surviving are sisters Margaret Shephard, Elinor Parker and Elizabeth Martans, and several nieces and nephews.
At Dorothy's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service is planned in Maple Grove Cemetery in the spring.
