Doreen Elizabeth (Reeves) Maute

Doreen Elizabeth Maute, 77, of Jordan died Sunday at Crouse Hospital following a three year battle with cancer. She was a life resident of the Jordan area and a 1966 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School. Doreen was employed as an insurance underwriter for over 30 years at the Amica Insurance Co. Later she was employed with the Malvaso Insurance Agency. Doreen was a long-time volunteer at the Jordan Fall Festival and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Jordan. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Lillian Hatch Reeves and her brother John. Surviving are her husband of 56 years Kenneth H., daughter Kristen A., son Michael T., and sister Carol Hubbell. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday at the Bush Funeral Home, Elbridge. Funeral will be 11am Saturday at the First Baptist Church, 30 Clinton St. Jordan. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 605, Jordan, NY 13080
