Obituary
Donald Edward Graves, 84, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Born in Lackawanna, New York in 1939 and raised in the state orphanage system, he later obtained his GED and became a Journeyman Machine Repairman. Donald moved to Baldwinsville in 1970 and enjoyed his life alongside his loving wife of 47 years Jeannine Bigness Graves (deceased 2016). He was a machine repairman at White Sundstrand and then New Venture Gear until his retirement. He was a proud member of UAW Local 624.
Donald was a supportive, loving, and caring father of two sons and their partners: Donald Francis (Jeanette Altarriba) Graves and Cory James (Jessica) Graves. He loved and was loved by his wife’s extended family who took him in as one of their own giving him the family he always wanted.
Calling hours will be noon to 1:00pm Saturday, July 29th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main Street (Rt. 5) Elbridge with a prayer service to follow at 1:00pm with the Rev. John DeLorenzo officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
