Donald N. Gibbs

Donald N. Gibbs, 90 of Jordan passed away Sunday in
UUH@Community General. Born in Skaneateles, Don was a life resident of the
area. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with the NYS DOT for 30
years before retiring. In his younger years Don enjoyed playing football and
hockey. He was a longtime member of the Elbridge Rod & Gun Club.
He was predeceased by his son Jerry in 2015.
Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Margie Ryder Gibbs, 2 sons Donald (Martha)
Gibbs and Wayne Gibbs, his daughter Debra Hawker, a sister Shirley Gourley, 7
grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 11am to 1pm Saturday, Sept. 19th at the Bush Funeral
Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will follow at 1:15pm
in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge. Masks and social distancing will be required.
