Dawn Elaine Brooks passed away at age 78 on December 18. 2023. She was born on December 4, 1945.  Dawn is predeceased by her loving parents Richard S. Brooks and Dorothy (Adelaide)A. Weller.  Dawn was a lifetime member of Eastwood Baptist Church, a long-time member of the church choir, and a graduate of Eastwood High School. Dawn worked for the Syracuse Post Standard for over 25 years, and Time Warner. She was lovingly referred to as Aunt Dawn by the Brooks family.  She is survived by her many cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Saturday January 13th from 2pm to 4pm at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. Elbridge NY. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan. In lieu of flowers please contribute to a charity of your choice in her name.
