Daniel F. Edgbert, 85, of Weedsport passed away on February 17, 2024 at home.
Survived by Marsha Wood Edgbert, his wife of 63 years, their children: Joey, David, Vicki Edgbert and Jeanette
(Dave) Murray. Granddaughters Kaylee Murray (Cory Gefell), Sara (Beau) Stenson and great
grandchildren Ava and Lucas Stenson. A sister-in-law Annie (Lee) Edgbert and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Harry and Iva Cushing Edgbert and siblings Pauline, Charles, Edythe, Elsie,
James, Harrison, Edward, Leander and Ormond.
Daniel graduated from Cato-Meriidian High School in 1956. He worked as a set-up man for Pass &
Seymour/LeGrand for 41 years before retiring in 2000.
Daniel took great pride in being known as ‘Grumpy’ to his grandchildren, great grandchildren and
everyone he would meet in his later years.
A private graveside service will be in the spring in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan.
