Cassandra Lynn (Thorn) Ternosky

Cassandra (Sandy) Lynn Ternosky, born June 8, 1971, passed away at home on June 10, 2026. She is survived by her husband John, son Joe and daughter-in-law Nicki Ternosky(Currier), grandchildren, Sylas and Aya Ternosky, brother and sister-in-law Bob (Sue) Ternosky , brothers, Paul (Jen) Thorn, Dave (Kristin) Thorn, Jonathon Thorn, as well as nieces and nephews, many other loving family members, and special friends Todd and Kristen Piedmonte.   She was predeceased by her son, Ian Russell Ternosky, and her beloved dogs Hunter and Sherlock.

 Calling hours will be held at Bush Funeral Home, located at 120 E. Main Street, Elbridge, NY 13060, on Saturday June 20, 2026, from 2:00-4:00PM.

Sandy was fiercely protective of her family, incredibly independent, unapologetically authentic, strong, kind, and thoughtful.   To John, she was his love, his life, his everything.  To many others, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and dog mom.  To know Sandy was to love her.  All the lives she touched were made better. For those who were closest to Sandy, she was their north star. We are all diminished by her loss and she will forever be missed.
