Carolyn Joyce Stalians went home to her Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 8, 2022 at her home at 7 Lily Ln. Weedsport, NY.

Carol was the youngest child of Claud Cecil Stalians and Gladys Lucille (Lisk) Stalians. She was born in Hanford, California, May 16, 1947. Her family moved to Hawaii, when she was young.  She was Miss Waikiki for a year there and became an LPN, while in Hawaii.  She later became a Nun and served in that capacity 15-20 years. She moved to Syracuse to serve in the Franciscan order.  Carolyn then worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a phlebotomist for many years, from which she retired.

The main love of her life her life, since a tragic fire destroyed her home, was her Lord Jesus Christ! She shared her love for him through blessing her friends and her church family. She faithfully attended 1st Baptist Church of Jordan, NY, she loved learning God’s word and praying!

She did so many adventurous things in her life: scuba diving, she had her pilot’s license, traveled to Europe and Egypt and of course being Miss Waikiki.

Some of her favorite passions were her: horses, birds, and gardening. She owned and rode her beloved horses. She made a beautiful garden at her home, filled with flowers, fountains, bird feeders and bird baths, where her favored birds would play.

She is survived by her spoiled companion, her beautiful bird, Phoenix a Cockatiel and numerous friends.  She will be dearly missed!

Please come and join us and Carol’s 1st Baptist Church family to celebrate her life on Sept 24th at 11 am at 1st Baptist Church 30 Clinton Rd Jordan, Ny 13080. Everyone is also welcome to a graveside service at the Fort Hill Cemetery 19 Fort Street Auburn, NY 13021, Monday, Sept. 19th, at 1 pm.
