Carleton W. “Gus” Roberts, 96, of Elbridge passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at home surrounded by his children. Carleton was preceded in death by his wife Ruby, to whom he was married to for 70 years. He is survived by two sons, John (Aileen) and Thomas, daughter Ann Crandall, grandchildren Erin (Douglas) Willoughby and Lauren (Matthew) Holstein and four great grandchildren.
Carleton, a native of South Royalton, Vermont, obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Castleton College in 1952. He went on to teach in Windsor, VT and then at Skaneateles High School. He coached the track and cross-country teams. Carleton served in the US Army and Army Reserves.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held for family and friends at 11am Tuesday, July 8th in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge.
