Brent Joseph Bozeat, 70, of Port Byron, NY passed on February 9th, 2024, at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation. He was born on September 17, 1953, to the late Lester Floyd and Ester Simon Bozeat of Jordan NY. Brent worked for E&V delivering propane, and prior to that he drove truck for Plainville Turkey Farm. He was predeceased by his siblings: Eugene Bozeat, Lester Bozeat Jr, Elizabeth Jackson, and Bob Bozeat. He is survived by his children, Tracy (Calvin) Cook, Shannon (Shawn) Church, Nicole (Lee) Herrling, Melanie Austin-Bozeat, Siblings: Mark (Debbie) Bozeat, John (Shelly) Bozeat, Daryl (Patty) Bozeat, Randy (Dawn)Bozeat and Bruce (Anna) Bozeat, Elain Bozeat (Kenny), 9 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Brent did not want calling hours or a funeral.  He preferred to be remembered as someone who loved the outdoors and especially fishing.  Pick up a fishing rod and go out and catch a big fish and think of him. The family would like to send a big thank you to the 8th floor staff at Loretto. The kindness and care provided to Brent and his family during this difficult time was appreciated. Health care is not an easy line of work and these heroes deserve our gratitude.
