Obituary

On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, Barbara H. Clingerman went home to the Lord at the age of 79 after a long battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Virginia Wilcox Hazeltine, her husband Richard and her sister Cindy Hazeltine. She is survived by 3 children Lori Shaw Knight (Matt), John Eisele (Joyce) and Eric Clingerman (Tessa), a sister Mary Clark (Chuck), granddaughters Erin Knight and Jenafer Knight, a niece Donna Fletch Trumble (Walter), nephews James Fletcher (Tammy) and David Fletcher, her great nephews Bradley and Trevor Fletcher, and her nieces Elizabeth Fletcher Lewis (Michael predeceased) and Sydney Fletcher and great nieces Emma and Scarlett Lewis. All that knew Barbara were aware of her love of family, nature, and her beloved pets. She loved helping people and making them smile.

Barbara loved flowers and loved going to her niece’s house to see her flower beds. There will be no services. Those that would like to do something could make a contribution in her name to the Auburn Community Cats TNR (a group that traps feral cats and gets them neutered) or the SPCA.
