William C. Hardy, 82 of Jordan passed away Wednesday in the Commons on St. Anthony Street. Bill was a life resident of Jordan, a 1955 graduate of Jordan High School and a Navy veteran having served from 1955 to 1959. He was a member of the American Legion S-K Post 1324 of Auburn. He formerly was employed at Allied Chemical. Bill enjoyed camping, fishing and woodworking.
He was predeceased by his sisters Florence Cook and Betty McMillan.
Surviving are his wife Monica Brogan Hardy, son Timothy (Bridget) Hardy, daughter Rebecca (Warren) Colville, sister Emma Milton, brother-in-law Robert Cook, 4 grandchildren Emily Hardy, Tate, Kellie, and Juliet Colville, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10am Saturday in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt.5) Elbridge. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund.
