Roger F. Novak, 73 of Elbridge passed away at home following a short illness. Roger spent 45 years working as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator before retiring. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. Roger was a past commander of the VFW Post 8122. He was a member and past Master of the Jordan Lodge 386 F&AM. He also served as an Onondaga Masonic District staff officer. Roger was active in the JE Lions Club. Woodworking was a favorite hobby for Roger.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years Gloria Smith Novak, 2 sons Adam (Sarah) Novak and Andrew Novak, his brother Steven (Barbara) Novak, his sister Sherilyn (Jerry) Houde, and 2 granddaughters Charlotte and Caroline Novak.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Monday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St (Rt. 5) Elbridge. A Masonic Service will follow at 7pm with a presentation of Military Honors completing the services.
