Michael T. Shippey

Michael Thomas Shippey, 37, of Jordan passed away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday August 21, 2018.  A 1999 graduate of Jordan Elbridge High School, Mike worked as a warehouse manager for Trinity Commissary Services in Liverpool NY.  Mike enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and anything to fulfill his need for speed.  He cherished family, friends and his dog ‘Cuse. 

Surviving are his wife Christina (Benati) Shippey; his mother Kelly (Benny Demperio) Shippey; grandfather Robert Shippey; father Ronald Cornell; his sisters Michele (Clark) Hunt and Christie Cornell; brother Clinton (Lacy) Cornell, and nephews Ethan and Owen Hunt; aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Michael was predeceased by grandmother Esther Shippey; uncles John and Bobby Shippey; and his dog ‘Cuse.   

Calling hours will be 1-5pm Sunday August 26that the Bush Funeral Home at 120 East Main Street, Elbridge NY. Private graveside services will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
