Mafalda "May" (Fofi) Angeli

Mafalda “May” (Fofi) Angeli, 97, of Jordan passed away at the Cottages surrounded by family on Saturday, December 7th.  May was born on December 2, 1922 to the late Daniel and Olympia Fofi.  She was predeceased by her husband Ubaldo, brothers Primo, Nello, Daniel Jr., and Raymond and sisters Italia, Elizabeth, Joanne, Yolanda and grandson Gregg Gordon.

She is survived by her daughter Rita(Tom)Dygert; sons James (Chafica) and Joseph; sister Margaret Criscera; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  May was a humble and selfless person and always put the needs of others before hers.  Her life revolved around her family and she especially loved and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and family gatherings. All who knew and loved her will cherish her memory.

Calling hours will be Thursday December 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Bush Funeral Home at 120 E. Main St (Rt.5) Elbridge, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 28 N. Main St., Jordan.
