Katherine Elizabeth Marbes

Katherine Elizabeth Marbes, 95, formerly of Camillus went home to be with the Lord on August 7th in Marianna, FL. Katherine was born on Sept. 11, 1922 in Norfolk, VA. She lived most of her life in Syracuse/Camillus. Katherine was preceded in death by her Grandpa Powers, her beloved husband of 50 years, George Kenneth Marbes, one grandson Robert Burns and one great grandson Kristian Miller. She is survived by her three daughters, Elaine, Roberta, and Joyce, one God-child Donna Parks, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Katherine’s Homecoming celebration will be 12PM Monday August 13th at the Syracuse Alliance Church, 3112 Midland Ave. Syracuse. Visitation will be 11am to noon. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 109 Ferndale Drive, Syracuse 13205 or Exodus 3 Ministries, 2610 S.
