Gladys Irene (Clements) DiRisio, 92 of Jordan passed away peacefully at home on August 10, 2019,surrounded by her loving family. She was born and remained a lifelong resident of Jordan. Gladys retired from the OCC Bursars Office. She enjoyed all things in nature and captured its beauty through travel, camping and in her photography. Her unwavering faith, love, compassion, kindness and wisdom have left a mark on all who knew her. Her life’s passion was cooking and caring for her family and friends.
Gladys is predeceased by her husband, Phillip A. DiRisio, and significant long-time partner Jerry DeBois, 2 sisters, Eva and Mabel and 1 brother Erwin. Sons-in-law Edward Spencer, Ardeshir Ommani, Erwin Murray and grandchildren Donald, Arman and Daniel.Gladys is survived by her brother Raymond Clements (Patricia), her seven children, John (Dale), Eleanor Ommani, Jean Spencer, Phillip (Brenda), Karen DiRisio, Frederick (Martha) and Marjorie DiRisio Duger (Doug). She has 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am Saturday, August 17th in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3- 7pm Friday at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St, Elbridge.
