David A. Minsterman age 65 passed away suddenly June 6, 2017. David was born in Syracuse, NY on March 25, 1952 to Robert and Evelyn Minsterman. He was a graduate of Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY. He attended St. Bonaventure University and Syracuse University for his Bachelor of Science degree and later received his Master’s degree from Syracuse University in Computer Science. He was employed by the Onondaga County Health Department as a Bacteriologist. He enjoyed photography and he took numerous pictures of nature and celestial events. David had a passion for astronomy and studies of the universe. He loved dogs and especially his family.

David was predeceased by his father Robert in 2002. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean, his mother Evelyn, four sons David J. (Tracy) Christopher (Nicole) Timothy (Mandy) Minsterman, Barton (Kristie) Kitchner and four grandchildren, Jana, Nolan, Giada, Lucio and one on the way. We love you to the moon and back!

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge with a service to follow at 7pm with the Rev. Glen Hardman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNYSPCA.
