Cynthia M. (Lippert) Maslak, 62, of Jordan went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was at home at the time of her passing surrounded by her loving family. Residing in Memphis for most of her life, she was a 1975 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and received her Nursing Degree from Crouse Irving School of Nursing. Cindy spent much of her career as an OB/GYN nurse and Lactation Consultant at Crouse Irving Hospital. She had a passion for caring for new mothers and their babies. She also spent several years as a school nurse at Elbridge Elementary School. Cindy loved antiques, crafts and Christmas.
She was predeceased by her mother Maude M. Lippert. Surviving are her husband of 43 years Joseph R. Maslak, her daughter Jodilyn (Jesse) Stuart, her son Joseph V. (Susana) Maslak, her father Victor (Eileen) Lippert, her sisters Patti (Paul) Loran, Vicki (Sam) Piazza, brother Fred (Debbie) Lippert, granddaughters Julia and Anya and a large extended family.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday, Nov. 8th at the First Baptist Church of Memphis, 1960 W. Genesee Turnpike (Route 5) Elbridge. A celebration of Cindy’s life will be 10:00am Saturday, Nov 9th at the church with burial to follow at Kingdom Road Cemetery, Memphis.
