Clara L. Kenney 97 of Jordan passed away Thursday, May 4th at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. She was born Jan. 19, 1920 in Jordan and she was a 1938 graduate of Jordan High School.  Clara graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1942 and she spent 51 years as a RN at the hospital.

Clara was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan and a member of the Legion of Mary.

She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Clara Kenney, brother Laurence Kenney, and her sisters Elizabeth Salvetti and Mary Kenney.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends may call 8:30am to 9:30am Saturday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. The Rite of Committal and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles. 

The family wishes to express grateful appreciation to all the staff at Garden Grove for the loving care extended to Clara during her stay.
