Charles Bartnik Obituary

Charles E. Bartnik, 84, of Jordan passed away August 16, 2018 at his home where he lived for 60 years. He was predeceased by his wife Rita Bartnik, parents Joseph aand Laua Bartnik, brother William Bartnik and sister Dorothy Darhes. He is survived by his daughters, Colette Richardson (Rodney) and Dana Baker, sister Fran Leonti of Auburn, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two kitties Sadie and Stooley. Chuck was an animal lover and took care of the neighborhood stray cats. These cats ate better than he did. He is with all his deceased pets again. When he retired from Allied Chemical 30 years ago, he taught himself how to ride a motorcycle at the age of 55 and bought himself a Harley Davidson motorcycle. His nickname was “Harley Charlie”. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Finger Lakes SPCA in Auburn or Hospice of CNY.
