Catherine P. (Crotty) Manley

On Friday, April 12, 2019, Catherine P. Manley of  MacCollum Road, Elbridge, NY was freed of her earthly body and able to rejoin her loved ones and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on January 18, 1933 the daughter of Helen and Leo Crotty of Jordan NY. She began her adult life as a Secretary for Farmer’s and Traders Insurance. She married Howard A. Manley of Elbridge NY in 1956 and they were blessed with 62 years of marriage together raising 8 children.

 She was predeceased by parents and siblings John, Robert, Charles and Jean Crotty.  In addition, she was predeceased by two daughters, Patricia Steil and Jeanne Case. 

She is survived by her husband Howard, children Kathleen Bobbett, James (Kathy) Manley, Monica (Patrick) Snickles, Mary Beth Trask (Jeff Loder), Daniel (Stephanie) Manley and David (Julie) Manley, 3 sisters Marjorie Austin, Helen Popp, and Maureen Molloy, eighteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 4-7 pm on Thursday, April 25th at Bush Funeral Home, 120 East Main St, (Rt. 5) Elbridge NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John DeLorenzo will be 10am Friday, April 26th in St. Patrick’s Church, 28 North Main Street, Jordan. The Rite of committal and burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles, NY.
