Arthur Bert Larkin, 84, formerly of Elbridge, passed away Saturday, August 17th, at his home in Chaumont NY.
Following graduation from Solvay High School, he joined the US Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1957. After retiring from Allied Chemical, he drove school bus for JE School District for 10 years. He was a member and past chief of Elbridge Fire Dept. He was a member of Elbridge Community Church and after moving he became a member of Chaumont Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith (Brown) Larkin, his daughter Donna (Rick) Bushnell of Liverpool, son Douglas (Kimberly) Larkin of Wingdale NY, David Larkin of Jordan NY, and his grandchildren Jake and Abigail Larkin both of Wingdale. His brother Walter (Patricia) Larkin of Fairmount NY, and nephews Walter (Priscilla) Larkin of Camillus NY, Mark (Maureen) Larkin of Boston MA and niece Kimberly Larkin of Fairmount.
A graveside service with military honors will be 11am Thursday, Aug. 22nd in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rt. 5 West, Elbridge with the Rev. Floyd Duger officiating. Contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 264, Chaumont, NY 13622
