Arlen Alden Schneider, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 26th, 2019. Arlen - “Art” to all who
knew him - lived a life full of love, family, friends, and happiness. He is predeceased by the love of his life,
devoted wife Kathleen Anne (Page) Schneider who passed in December, 2017, and his daughter Pamela May
Schneider who passed in April, 2013. He is also predeceased by brothers Rohe Schneider, Jr. and Daniel
Schneider.
Originally from Clay, Art graduated from Cicero High School in the Class of 1955.
Survivors: Art is survived by his sons Arlen (Elaine) and Scott (Jill); his grandchildren Matthew (Shannon),
Joshua (Christen), Adam (Renee), Heather, Jeremy (Nicole), Dylan, and Lindsay; his great-grandchildren
Kwon, Raielea, Teghan, Caidan, Addilyn, Isabelle, Benjamin, Memphis, Matthew, and Alexi; his brothers
Stacy of Norwich, Garry of Baldwinsville and Francis of Clay; his sisters Marie Donovan of Clay and Jacqueline
Revette of Clay; along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. His family knows he is now
meeting his “huckleberry friend” who has been “waiting ‘round the bend” for him since December 8th, 2017.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church,
4947 State Route 31, Clay, NY.
