Kenneth D. Youngs

Kenneth Donald Youngs of Jordan, NY passed away on March15, 2024. He was 86.
Kenneth was born on May 5,1937 to Ernest and Florence Youngs in Marlton, NJ, a small town
near Philadelphia. His family moved to Reeds Corners, NY when he was a young child.
He married his childhood sweetheart Carol Henry in 1956 at the Reeds Corners Congregational
Church going on to have four children David, Andrew, Timothy and Jeffrey. Kenneth and Carol
were married for over 66 years.
Ken was an electrician for over 40 years. He was a long-time member of the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 43. He loved to garden and was well known in the
community for his tomatoes. He was generous with his time with his friends and neighbors,
always willing to lend a helping hand.
Ken was predeceased by his wife, Carol, his younger sister Lorraine Fonda and his grandson
Beau Youngs. Ken is survived by his older sister Arlene Coulter. Ken has four grandchildren:
Lyza Youngs, Raina Youngs, Thomas Youngs and Katherine Youngs. He has three great-
grandchildren from Lyza: Jenna, Anthony and Gordon.
There are no memorial services per Ken’s wishes. Ken will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery
in Canandaigua with his wife Carol later this year.
