Edith E. (Burke) Smith

Edith Smith, 94, of Jordan/Memphis, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024.

She was born November 15, 1929, to the late Henry and Cecelia Burke. She graduated from Jordan High School and was a member of the Memphis First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Howard) Jones of Memphis: granddaughter, Wendy (Steve) Williams, of Memphis, grandson, Kelly Jones, of Weedsport: great grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley) Williams, Zachary (Carley) Williams, and Carrie Williams.

Edith is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Hubert J. Smith, brother David Burke, and grandson Sandy Jones.

Calling hours will be 4:00-6:00pm Tuesday, Feb. 27th with a funeral service immediately following at the Memphis First Baptist Church 1960 W. Genesee Turnpike Elbridge, NY. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
