Sally C. Jewell 79 of Cato passed peacefully at home with family beside her following a year-long battle with cancer. A graduate of Oswego High School, Sally was formerly employed at Syracuse University, Jordan Wire Co, Marshall Manor, Critz Pharmacy and Mantz Pharmacy where she was a pharmacy assistant.

She was predeceased by her parents Floyd and Frances Clark, brother Floyd K. Clark and her first husband Robert Jewell.

Surviving are her husband Alec “Joe” Wieczorek, 2 daughters Christine (Dan) Bernard of Schenectady, and Laura Jewell of Auburn, brother Donald (Charlotte) Clark of Baldwinsville, a granddaughter Madison Bernard, 5 nieces and one nephew.

Services will be 10 am Thursday in the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Sally requested that donations be made to the following organizations-American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
