Roger Louis Donahue

Roger Louis Donahue 76 of Weedsport passed away Tuesday in the Finger Lakes Center for Living. Roger formerly owned  Ace’s Lawn Care Service. In his younger years, he was well known for drag car racing as part of the Donahue Brothers. Roger was active in the community with memberships in the Weedsport Lions Club, the Weedsport Little League and the Weedsport Lodge F&AM #385. He served on the Weedsport Zoning Board of Appeals.

His wife C. Ann Donahue passed away in 2015.

Surviving are 2 sons Patrick (Kim) Donahue of Cato and Matthew Donahue of Weedsport, a brother David (Linda) Donahue of Jordan, 2 grandchildren Kody and Ashlee.

Friends may call 3-5pm Saturday at the Weedsport United Methodist Church, 2744 E. Brutus St. with a service to follow at 5pm. Burial will be in Weedsport Rural Cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes Center for Living or the Weedsport United Methodist Church.  The Bush Funeral Home of Elbridge has charge of arrangements.
