Louise Dwyer Obituary
Louise M. Dwyer, 85, of Main St., Memphis passed away Saturday at VanDuyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Louise was one of the “Memphis Moms” who played an important role for several years in the lives of young people growing up in the Memphis area. She was a noted cake designer at the Atlas Bakery where she created cakes for all occasions.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 2010 and her son Karl in 2017. Surviving are 2 sons John “Dutch” (Mary) Dwyer of Memphis and Michael (Lynn) Dwyer of Jordan, daughter Annemarie (Ralph) Haney of Elbridge, daughter-in-law Penny Dwyer of NC, sister Gretchen Huntley of Ont., several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Wednesday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be in Kingdom Cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY.
