Karl Walter Dwyer 65 formerly of Memphis passed away Jan. 26th in Mt. Gilead, NC.
He was a tool and die maker and was formerly employed at Pass & Seymour, Camillus Cutlery, and Syroco. Karl was also a horologist and he owned Antique Clocks and Watches. He was a former member of the Memphis Vol. Fire Dept. and active in Boy Scout Troop 143. He was also a Mason. Karl was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, camping and hunting. Sharing time with family and friends was especially important to him.
He was predeceased by his father John M. Dwyer Sr.
Surviving are his wife Penny, son Bradlee, daughter Connie (Richard) Bump, mother Louise Marie Dwyer, 2 brothers John “Dutch” (Mary) Dwyer and Michael (Lynn) Dwyer, a sister Annemarie (Ralph Jr) Haney, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering from noon to 3:00 pm Sunday, Feb. 12th at the Warners-Memphis Fire Station #1, 6444 Newport Road, Warners. Spring burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery.
