Joseph A. Marlowe, Sr.

Joseph A. Marlowe, Sr., passed away on March 11.  He was born on July 31, 1947 in Ogdensburg, NY, to Edra and Lawrence Gilbert.  Joe served 8 years in the US Navy during Vietnam before settling in Memphis, NY.  He was a retiree of New Venture Gear.  He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and his beloved dog, Chester. 

He is survived by his children Nancy (Ed) Spencer, Kimberly (Carl) Oman, and Joseph Jr., his granddaughters Nicole (Andy Chambers) Marlowe, Kaitlyn Spencer and Emma Youngman, his great-granddaughter Charlotte Chambers, his expected great-grandson Adam Chambers, his sister Ann Marie Hotaling, his sister Connie Goodwin, loving family friend Gene Clark and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children Sandra Marlowe of West Virginia.

Per Joe’s wishes, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in Joe’s memory.
