James A. Peters 84 of Weedsport passed away Sunday at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Jim moved to the Weedsport area in 1980. He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. Jim was a well known golfer and was named a PGA Golf Professional CNY Section.

He was predeceased by his wife Flo Moynihan Peters and his son Michael.

Surviving are two sons Steven (Mickey) Peters of N. Syracuse and Jeffery Peters of CA, two daughters Stephanie (David) Bales of Skaneateles, and Judi (Michael) Magee of Cato, 5 grandchildren Colin, Katie, and Abbie Bales, Chrissy Price, and Michael Magee, a cousin Agnes Whitmyer.

Friends are invited to stop by between 3-7pm Saturday, March 11th at the Millstone Golf Course, Rt. 5 West, Elbridge to help celebrate Jim's life.
