Howard N. Hawker Jr. 76 of Jordan passed away April 10, 2017 in Clearwater, FL. Born in Cato, Howard lived in the Jordan area most of his life. He was head maintenance at North Medical Center and East Medical Center before retiring. Howard was a member of the Sons of American Legion. He was an avid horseshoe player. Howard most enjoyed his family and friends and the times spent together.

He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Mildred and his sister Susan.

Surviving are his wife Sandra Newton Hawker, 3 sons, Howard (Laurie), Mark (Marsha) and Scott (Annie), 2 daughters Eleana (Theodore) Daeffler and Lorrie Skarr (Richard), 2 brothers Ronald (Carol) and Richard G. Hawker (Dale), brother-in-law Theodore Newton, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday. April 19th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be 11am Thursday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Rt. 317, Jordan with the Rev. Glen Hardman officiating.  Contributions may be to Sun Coast Hospice, Clearwater, FL 33760 or Hospice of CNY.
