Helen F. Roberts 77 of Syracuse passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 in Crouse Hospital. Born in Cato, Helen lived in Florida and for the past 30 years in the town of Geddes. She was a graduate of Cato-Meridian High School and was formerly employed by New York Telephone Co. and Southern Bell. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was predeceased by a brother Paul and a sister Thomasena. Surviving are a daughter Sonya Roberts (George T. Moran), 2 brothers Kevin (Gloria) Fear and Nick (Celia) Fear, a sister Karen (Ronald) Files, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. A service will follow at 7pm with the Rev. Thomas Bell officiating. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
