Doris M. Allen, 82 of Auburn passed away peacefully and joyfully as she went to meet her Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017. She will be dearly missed by all her friends at Boyle Center who watched over her during her illness. Special thanks go out to her Christian family at the Auburn Alliance Church.

She was predeceased by her husband Dean Allen Jan. 9, 2000.

She is survived by her sisters Lucy (Peter) Dye of Jordan and Carol (Jeff) Day of California, her daughters Susan (William) Larussa of Ohio and Elizabeth (Paul) Shaheen, and son James (Laura) Allen along with 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and her dear and faithful friend Bob Gagne.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Auburn Alliance Church, Monday October 2nd at 6:00 pm. Reception to follow. Donations can be made to the Matthew House or Hospice of the Finger Lakes. The Bush Funeral Home of Elbridge has charge of arrangements.
