Bertram E. Farrell Jr., 82 of Jordan formerly of Warners passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Born in Syracuse, Bert lived in Warners before moving to Jordan. His wife Jean died in 2006. Bert retired from VanDuyn Home & Hospital where he was a mail carrier. Bert was an avid NASCAR fan and he enjoyed fishing and especially the old Western movies featuring John Wayne. He was a member of the Warners United Methodist Church. Bert was a proud Navy Veteran having served from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean War.  Surviving are two sons Bertram E. (Laurie) Farrell III and Michael (Deborah) Farrell, a daughter Kimberly Herzog, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be 11:30am Tuesday in River View Cemetery, Tappan St. Baldwinsville with the Rev. Judy Alderman officiating.  Contributions may be made to the Warners United Methodist Church.
